How to use:

First, cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser, do not use a cleanser with added AHA’s.

Before you start, mentally divide your face into five sections:

• forehead

• right cheek

• left cheek

• chin & neck

• décolletage

Apply gentle pressure to roll the derma roller over your skin vertically, horizontally, and diagonally.  Do this two to four passes vertically, followed by another two to four rolls horizontally on the same section. Then, move on to the next area. Next, apply a second layer of serum (it can be the same one you used pre-rolling or a different product).

Never use if you active acne, extremely sensitive skin, rosacea, cold sores, or cuts. Treatment is recommenced at night since your skin will be a little pink from rolling and to start off using a derma roller once a week at first, working up to three times a week.

As soon as you’re done using your derma roller, sterilize it in alcohol for three to five minutes and let it air-dry before storing it back in its container.

Here are ingredients to look for in your serums:

• Hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid attracts and retains moisture, so applying it after derma rolling can help plump and hydrate the skin.

• Peptides. Copper peptides are naturally-occurring complexes in the skin that, when applied topically, have been found to increase the production of collagen.

• Growth factors. Growth factors are proteins that promote the production of healthy cells and tissues. They bind to your skin cells and signal to repair and rejuvenate your skin. For derma roller, they act hand-in-hand with thickening skin.
